American Idol – Girls. Yay.
Well. Here we go. I promised to be better about it. And Daniel’s post has inspired me. I hope it doesn’t seem copied. XD Ah well. Let’s see. What’s going on….

Okay. So, I got sucked into watching all of the audition episodes of American Idol. I’m not sure how it happened, but it did. Ah, well. The auditions were, as expected, a wide range. Good, bad, mediocre. (“You are my brother….best friends forever….”)
Now, I am watching the top 24 go at it. Tonight – the 12 boys.
Honestly? Not impressed. Not really. I should have been writing this down as they went along so I could keep track of my thoughts on them, but – I didn’t think about posting about AI until – just now. So – mleh. Sorry, internets. I have failed you. I have not followed Diz’s example properly. I apologize. I shall do better tomorrow for the girls.

My birthday is in 8 days. Eight. WHEE! I’m a little excited about it, but not much. My birthday is usually pretty boring, to be honest. But, you still have to be excited. Something interesting could happen. You never know. Maybe I’ll finally meet the love of my life while I’m at the bookstore. It could happen. Right? Sure, why not. (;
Anyway. I’ve decided what I really want. It’s silly and makes no sense, but I want it anyway.
What is it?
A sushi pillow.
I know. I’m strange. But that’s what I want. (=

I have to tell you, I highly recommend doing absolutely nothing on your Sunday. It’s fantastically relaxing. ::grins::
I slept in, had a nice breakfast, played Titan Quest for a while. Then, I messed around online and watched television. Mostly Food Network. Love me some Food Network. Then, I got to play some Titan Quest with Yoshi. Any game you can play with a friend makes it that much more awesome, I gotta say. (; Rick visited for a bit and we played some more Puzzle Quest. He brought cake for my birthday and I felt a trifle ill after eating it. I think I had Daniel’s problem with the sugar. Oy. Not so fun. I gotta tell you. :/
Rick goes home tomorrow morning, so hopefully, he will drive safely. Drive safe, Rick! (=
I have tomorrow off. Yes, that’s right. I am off on a Monday. Horray for dead Presidents! (= They give me a day off from work. Totally awesome. I plan on sleeping in and then doing some grading which I’ve been putting off all weekend. It has to be done. Ah, well. Such is life, eh?

9 days until my birthday. WHEEE!
I have to tell you, internets, it’s been a fantastically fabulous Saturday for me, even if it did not start off as fabulous.
4 am. The alarm from the upstairs neighbor is going off. Now, you know it has reached it’s loudest volume possible if I am hearing the “beep – beep – beep” from her alarm clock. And it kept going. And going and going. “Goddammit. It’s 4 am!” *beep* “GAH!” *beep* I managed to sleep through it.
8 am. I don’t know WHAT was going on upstairs – but it sounded like I was at Mass. People were singing and it was in that particular vein. Ugh. I finally just got up and left my bedroom. So mad. Bleh.
But. I had pancakes. Rick, who is visiting my area, had brought me pancakes a couple of days ago, I just hadn’t had a chance to eat them. So, I had pancakes for breakfast. HORRAY!
I then proceeded to play Titan Quest for the rest of the morning. Awesome. I killed many things. Then, I read a bit, took a nap. More awesome.
I got up and chilled out some more with my book and my laptop. Rick came over and visited. He brought pizza. Horray. We played Puzzle Quest for 3.5 hours. Think Bejeweled – with a storyline. Awesome.
Now? Engaged with Danalyn in a comment war on Yoshi’s site. And! She offered me a job designing sites for WDS.
Seriously. Could this day have BEEN any better?
