Happy Heart Day!

Happy Heart Day, everyone!
Yes, Happy Heart Day to you, internets!! (=

I had a really nice Heart day, actually. I gave a test first period – on pink paper. Awww. (;
And then. I bought myself a rose, which is lovely and smells amazing. (=

And Rick is here, visiting, so he took me out to dinner. He’s a sweetie. (;

All in all, it was a very nice Heart Day. I appreciated myself. And that’s how it should be. You should appreciate yourself and not need someone else to do it for you.

Yes, I meh’d all over my blog last night due to Han, but – it’s okay. I’m done now. It’s all over. His loss and all that. Plus, Yoshi apparently knows people. (;

Oh, and think about my poor brother. He had to go to the ER last night. )= Apparently, something viral. He’s being a dork and not taking the Vicodin they gave him. Weirdo. I’m going to call him to check on him. His Heart Day was not so good. He didn’t even go to work. He always goes to work. He works more than anyone I know. So, it must be really bad for him to not have gone to work. Poor thing. )=

Anyhoo. Happy Heart Day and I’ll see you all tomorrow for the Ides of February! (=

Meh

And that’s about how I feel about it.

Got an email from Han. It’s not working out. Oh well. I would have preferred it in person or on the phone – but – it’s fine. At least he didn’t just stop calling. That would have sucked.

Would have liked to know what made the difference, but – that wasn’t included and I am not exactly in the mood to ask.
Odd how it actually hurts. Blah. Oh well.

Onward, I suppose.

Yes, yes – Y E S!

The writers’ strike is over. Horray. Hallelujah.

No, really.

I am utterly stoked about this, you just don’t know. I know I haven’t posted much about the writers’ strike – I left that to Diz who is way more informed about it. However, I have been utterly fed up with the reality shows and whatnot the networks have been putting on to cover their lack of actual programming. And the loss of favored TV shows as well. Meh. It’s been disheartening to look at the TV Guide and see – nothing. Nothing really worth watching. (Though, I’d like to know how come Law & Order, the original, had new shows to offer if everyone was on strike. I’m all confused by this! HELP!)

I’m not sure when new episodes will actually reach my television, but they are coming. Yay. I’m excited.

Lazy Day

How are you, internets? I am absolutely wonderful. Yes, I really am.

I know you want to know why I am that fantastically good today. Well. I shall tell you. (;

I had the day off. I slept in for three hours, getting up at 8 am. (Yes, that’s sleeping in. I usually get up at 5 am.) I then putzed around my house for a bit, then played Titan Quest all morning. Yay. Nothing like senseless slaughter of computer-generated monsters to relieve stress and pass a morning. I ate lunch, then read a book all afternoon. Even MORE yay. Just sitting around my house and doing absolutely nothing.

I had no idea I needed to do that. How much I needed to do that. I feel refreshed. Much better.

Oh, internets. Tell me your day was just as good.
