The writers’ strike is over. Horray. Hallelujah.
I am utterly stoked about this, you just don’t know. I know I haven’t posted much about the writers’ strike – I left that to Diz who is way more informed about it. However, I have been utterly fed up with the reality shows and whatnot the networks have been putting on to cover their lack of actual programming. And the loss of favored TV shows as well. Meh. It’s been disheartening to look at the TV Guide and see – nothing. Nothing really worth watching. (Though, I’d like to know how come Law & Order, the original, had new shows to offer if everyone was on strike. I’m all confused by this! HELP!)
I’m not sure when new episodes will actually reach my television, but they are coming. Yay. I’m excited.
Diz! The Office! It’s coming! (;
I’m craving for new shows, too; some fresh TV programming because we don’t get much entertainment from the tube these days.
Why won’t your blog update on Bloglines! I never get to read via the reader!
Anyway, I am OVERJOYED that the writers got a deal. I supported the strike, but I so miss my shows. THE OFFICE! YAY!
Don’t tease! For real? Yay!!
I could not be happier with this news! I could not believe it. DUring the whole strike, i was thinking “ok get over it please. just give them what they want so that we could all finaly be happy”. Here it is! Yay. Can’t wait!
Sometimes I think they planned it this long, but that could just be my conspiracy theory side that suspects this.
But yes, thank God it’s over seriously. Of course I hear that Heroes is going to be delayed still. Great. The shows that I want to see will be delayed more.
But I’m glad now that the crappy writers are out and the real writers are back! 😀
