I ahte snow I hate codl and I ahte yucky weather! Gimme summer, sun and as much heat as you want (without humidity though) and I would be the happiest woman alive!!! I can’t wait for my trip to Florida next month and I hope hope hope this time we’ll move there. Honestly this was the hardest part for me when we moved in Us. The fugly weather in CT. I miss my sunny Greece and I find people who like codl and snow…WEIRD.

Now other than that… where the heck have you been? I missed you !!!

Idiot School

The management would like to beg your pardon for this interruption of FFAF. Really.
However. There is the most bizarre bug that has suddenly cropped up in any browser. I checked it in the FF and the IE.

What is this bug, you ask?

When you try and save a picture – the browser closes. No. *hand to Bob* I’m not kidding at all. I tried it *twice* with FF and once with IE. When I tried to save a picture – and I did use separate pictures – the browser closes. This has GOT to be the work of the stupid IT guy here. IM things are off limits to teachers. Which is idiotic. I understand it for students. But teachers? Perhaps there is only one setting for ‘not allowed’ websites. I don’t know. Teachers are not allowed to install anything to their computers. Okay, I get it. A good chunk of my fellow colleagues are a bit on the – computer illiterate side. But now I cannot save a freaking PICTURE off the web? What the f—. What if it was something I *needed* for class? ID 10 T, anyone? GAH!

free for all friday!

Hi! I’m Anastacia, and this is my first Free for All Friday. I’m so excited about it & I’m having lots of fun so far. If you haven’t joined yet, you should!

Today is a beautiful sunny day, though very cold, where I live in Southern MA. I’m still sitting in my pajamas, and still milking that first cup of coffee. I am not working today, so I have all day to play with my favorite thing, yarn!

Yes, I am a knitter. I love to knit. It’s not just a hobby for me, it’s not just a state of mind, it’s who I am. So naturally the first thing I think of on any given day, is what will I knit or crochet today? Should I finish the socks I started two weeks ago, or should I start another pair? Should I work on the skirt I started, or start another sweater? Should I work on the afghan I’m designing (so I can submit the pattern to be published online, at a site like http://www.crochetme.com) or should I finish another patchwork afghan to be donated to the nursing home or warm up america? Should I work on some granny squares for the next swap I’m in, or should I make some more doll clothes for my barbie? Hmm. So little time, so much yarn!

End of the week…

It’s the end of the week and time to do a wrap-up of stuff.

First – Visit Fyre Goddess. She’s got an amazing blog, is frank and open, and – honestly – she’s the best read I’ve had in a while. I still swear she’s my long lost twin. She and I seem to have the same view of this world. I love her. I need to ‘de-lurk’ on her website. I read, but I don’t comment. I bet she curses my lurking self. ANYway. Go. Click on the side there. GO! You know you want to click. YES.

Part two – FFAF! HORRAY! I’ll be putting up the sticky for THAT one. (= Look for it! I’ll probably make it a Free For All Weekend. I love people guest blogging. Muahahahahahaha.

Part Three – Semester 2 of work officially began this week. Oy. What a week. Children needing this, children needing that. Children wanting everything under the SUN. Evol children. ::le sigh:: But it’s okay. Really. It’s okay. I’m okay. Yes. I’m okay. raspberry

Part Four – thank you to the new people who’ve been dropping by to visit my blog: ShutteredEye, my DEAR FG, eV, and weenie. Thanks! I appreciate it!

Part Five – In regards to my Angst – I’m taking time off from those things which bring me angst. I’ve decided the following: If I start to feel angst while doing said things, I am going to stop doing said thing and move on to something else. Just for the sake of my SANITY. (= Many thanks to those who offered me advice and support on the angst. (ShutteredEye, FG, & eV)
