What’s your current favorite website and why?

Hrmmm, that’s a tough question. There are so many.

Well, I’ve been visiting Google a lot lately, but it certainly doesn’t count as my favourite.

Since I’ve been looking for design inspiration and getting back to my fine arts roots, a lot of design and writing sites have graced the presence of my laptop screen. Of course, the famous CSS Zen Garden is in the top three considering I’m working on a submission.

But, even CSSZG can’t quite be listed as my favourite site of the moment.

Okay, I have it! Amazon. It has to be my favourite site of the moment. They collect too much of my money not to.

Luka’s “Easy as Pie” Key Lime Pie

1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks
1/4 cup key lime juice (more/less depening on taste)
1 (9-inch) graham cracker piecrust
Whipped cream, to garnish

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
In a mixer on low-medium speed, blend the milk and egg yolks at low speed until smooth. Add the key lime juice and finish blending.

Gently pour the mixture into the piecrust and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the pie from the oven and let cool for another 15 minutes before refrigerating.

Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours before serving. Serve cold and top with fresh whipped cream.
