Super simple: take a 2 pound package of cocktail sausages, dump ’em in a pot with a bottle of good quality (i.e. not Kraft brand) barbecue sauce, then dump in a bottle of dark beer (I suggest Michelob Amber Bock). Stir it up until the sauce and beer are mixed, bring it to a boil, reduce the heat to a simmer, drop a lit on the pot so it doesn’t spatter all over your stove, and just let it cook for a good long while.
