Week #4 for Moi. Consecutive weeks? No, but that’s okay. We’ll get there. (;
And this week, because of the previous entry, we have Emo week! Yay! Hrmmm. Perhaps I should lurk in the shadows and talk about how life is pain….
(and for those of you who have no idea what Emo is – Wikipedia is your friend. Look below the TT for an excerpt.)

An Excerpt from Wikipedia on Emo. (;
When referring to a person’s personality and attitude, most definitions of emo hold that an emo person is emotionally candid, sensitive, shy, introverted, glum, and quiet. Depressed and broken-hearted are sometimes used to describe the emo personality. Emo music and poetry contain multiple references to unrequited love, emotional and relationship problems. Being melodramatic or attention seeking is also often associated with being emo.
What is emo?
Brooding is sometimes good—especially if it gets you writing!
I love the graphic for your site…it’s deep but not that angsty…ditto the colors(?)
Nothing wrong with brooding…I practice it pretty frequently myself.
Some people are just natural-born brooders, I think.
I don’t think I’ve ever thought of you as emo, but yeah, I guess I could see that.
@Kailani – emo is short for emotional. It’s come to mean anyone who tends to try and use their ‘dark’ and ‘gloomy’ state of mind to get attention. (;
@damozel – too true! Brooding is good for the artist’s soul. (; I truly think that amazing happy people can’t write as well. XD And thanks! I love these colors myself. I was not in an angsty mood when I designed it. (;
@Rasmenia – Too true. I don’t think my sister is a brooder. She just comes out and yells it. My mom and my brother and I? Brooders. We stew about things.
@Yoshi – Never seen me Emo? Wow. You must not have messaged me at the right time then. XD
There’s nothing wrong with a bit of Emo
Great list!
@Ember – thanks! (= Sometimes you need a little ’emo’ in your life. (;
I LOVE the list! LOL. I am so emo it hurts sometimes too.
I like your blog, esp. the design. I clicked in and instantly said “Ooooo, pretteeeee!”
I learned something new today: emo! and enjoyed reading your list. Happy thirteening!
@Kelly – I think we all are. (; I mean, who can be happy all the time?
@Carolan – thanks! (= *blush* I appreciate that!
@mar – thanks! (= I’m glad I was entertaining. (; That’s the goal.
Ah, I understand now. Thank you for the clarification!
My dog has learned the first signs of my angst.
