Work started in earnest again today. The last week has been all exams and working on preparing and grading. I haven’t had an actual “class” since the 11th of January. And, to be honest? Love that. Grading exams makes me nuts sometimes – I totally pull a Chris March and talk to my work – but the days themselves are relaxing. You sit there in silence while the students take a test for two hours. How awesome is that? Totally awesome. Love it. Monday I had off and yesterday was a professional day to prepare for today. Getting up early sucked. Hated it. Ah well. I do like my schedule now, though. There are eight class periods to the day. I teach 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7. I think it’s going to be absolutely awesome.
Went to Michael’s after work. Michael’s == yayness. I bought some new pens to do grading and some flowers for the pencils the students can borrow. I also bought some mystery items. They are a secret. Shhhhh. You’ll soon see. (;
The weekend is coming. I cannot wait.
I missed American Idol last night. Oh well. Watched it tonight. Have to say – way more fun last week when I was on the phone during the show with someone. Have you ever MST3K’d American Idol auditions? No? Do it. Makes it way fun.
Okay. That’s it. I’m done. Sleepy. But, I promised Daniel that my posts would be actual posts and not “zomg, I’m too tired to post.” posts. Which, I have to agree with him. Those suck. A lot. (;
