I’m Carrie from The Queen of Rambles. The suggested topics are all about spring, and I’m on board with that. I won’t shed a tear for the doldrums of winter. I love being able to go out for a walk without wearing three layers of clothes. I love feeling the fresh air on my face. I love pulling out my Birkies and putting my winter shoes away.
I spent this afternoon at an outdoor playgroup with a bunch of babies and moms. I’ve never done such a thing before since my baby was born at the beginning of winter, but it was great to be able to set a bunch of babies on a big blanket and let them roll around and do their baby thing. We didn’t have to keep checking their little hands to see if they were cold. We just had to worry about them eating bugs and grass.
I am so not a mother’s group person, but I’ll do anything to get outside.
Most embarrassing thing: People kept getting bugs on their face and in their hair, so I told one lady she had a bug on her face because I could only see it from the side. It was a mole. Open mouth, insert foot.
