In a cloud of smoke, the WeaselMaster Appears!  *cough, cough*

The WeaselMaster is here! Breezing by to give our lovable Barb a respite.

Now, some of you (if you don’t already know) are wondering, “Where the hell did this ‘WeaselMaster’ bit come from?” Well, I’ll tell you.

The best answer could be, “out of nowhere,” but I’m not THAT crazy. (Okay, I am, but don’t tell anyone. They still haven’t noticed I’m missing…) One, I like the sound of the conjoined term. WeaselMaster. You can say it five times fast, can squeak it, can boom it, whatever. Nice kind of title, wouldn’t you say? “Behold, the WeaselMaster cometh!” “Uhh, should I bow?” “Naah, just squeak something like you just inhaled a balloon and ran into your ex.”

Two, weasels and all their cousins are adorable creatures. Ferrets, the domesticated cousin of the weasel, are one of the most popular pets in the world. And in fact, they are statistically safer to own than many dogs. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs, but dogs can hurt kids totally inadvertently. Fuzzies will just want to play.

Three, all mustelids are energetic and playful. They’re soft, cute, sociable and love shiny objects (ooh shiny!). So how much fun would it be to invoke and emulate such a wonderful animal for no other reasons than “I can,” and “It’s fun!” Let me tell you, it’s a blast.

Four, it’s unique. I’ve never been a ‘normal’ person per se, and am always looking for silliness to evoke. Laughing people are happy people, and happy people are more positive, considerate, and take better care of themselves. There’s the altruist in me. And I get to have fun while doing it!

So, hopefully you’ve either had a light bulb turn on, or you’re lying on the floor babbling and drooling in confusion. Either way, I guess I did my job.
