It’s called the “Monday Meltdown” and is an excuse to just let out some of the frustration within. We all have frustration, yes? So – let’s focus our frustration and let it out on Mondays – because we all know that Mondays just deserve it. Just ask Garfield. ::grins::

Here’s my rant for the week – people airing personal issues in public.

This is a serious pet peeve for me. A serious pet peeve. If you have an issue with someone – or something someone did – don’t argue about it in a public place. This could be an actual public place, like a restaurant or a store, or a virtual public place, such as a chat room or forum. It’s personal. Meaning, it is between you and that one person (or two people). There is no need for you to bring your issue up in front of the rest of the studio audience. Ten to one, they have no idea what the hell you are talking about at the outset. Which puts those people in a very awkward position, especially if they are friends (even virtual friends) with the person (or people) about whom you are ranting.

It’s PERSONAL. Keep it that way. Take you problems to the person with whom you have problems. Don’t bring your cranky, whiny ass into my place of relaxation and start bitching. No. No, no, no, no. Don’t you dare. I don’t want to know that you feel you were slighted. I can guarantee that the only thing I will say to you is the following:

“That does not concern anyone in this room. Please stop discussing it here. Take it to those you have issues with.”

And should you continue, I will either leave my place of relaxation – which will FURTHER piss me off – or I will say the following:

“Seriously. Take your whiny, bitchy self elsewhere. We don’t need to hear you snipe at someone in a public forum – especially about something that doesn’t concern the rest of us.”

Honestly. Keep your dirty laundry in your own house. I don’t need to see it.
