::grins:: I may need to start doing that. For the first several incarnations of my blog, I started the entry with a lyric to a song. It usually related to either the entry or the blog. I miss that. It was fun for me. Sometimes frustrating trying to think of one – but still fun.

ANYway. SANTA! Oh Secret SAAAAAAAAAAAAANTAAAAAA . . .
*points to the side* There’s my listy! YAY! Now, about me. Hrmm. I don’t have a “100 Things” page yet. So, let’s see if I can give you an idea of who I am and what I like. (=
(Just so you don’t have to read this whole darn thing! AHH!)

I am a public school teacher – and I teach mathematics. In addition to that, I am a writer and a graphic artist. No, really. I do use both halves of my brain. Yes, it makes me absent-minded and scatter-brained. Yes, I have issues with left and right. I’m so sad.

I’ve gone through high school and college and I currently live with another person who was in the teaching profession but has since moved onto other pastures. I have a cat named Merlin and he is utterly sweet and loving and adorable.

Because I am left- AND right-brained, I tend to skew more toward puzzle types of video games. Don’t get me wrong, a little Soul Caliber never hurt anyone. (Ooo. Diablo II. Love that game too. I need to hack and slash some more!) But I really love things like Myst, that old 7th Guest game, things like that. Bejewelled I like because it is just addicting and mind-numbing. Shiny. Love shiny. Text twist is also addicting for me. Mmm! Words! Find the WORDS. ::giggles::

I love to read. I find there are few genres of books I have not delved into just yet. Westerns aren’t my favorite, though I’ve been known to read a few. I love mystery stories. I get such a kick out of trying to figure things out. I also go for ‘no brain’ reading – romance novels. XD You know the guy will get the girl in the end. So it’s nice. I do tend to veer more toward mystery romance novels – where there’s something to solve besides ‘how do I get this woman to love me’ and the like. Such as “Oh my god! There’s been a fire at Buckingham Palace! Who set it? WHY!?!” Teehee. Sex and mystery. Mmm. Yes. Sign me up. ::grins::

Movies! YAY! Vampire movies, science fiction movies, comedies. I pretty much like them all. Send ’em on! Give it up, baby! (;

Music. Rap and country are RIGHT out. Ugh. Not my favorites. Everything else? I usually give everything a listen once or twice. (=
