Birthday Exploits

So, yesterday was my birthday. I turned a rocking 28 years of age. 😎

Now, on Friday, I received the first birthday gift of the year. The WM sent me a great scarf. I will be warm and pretty. I will need to take pictures of it and post up here. It is really very pretty. I love it. Also on Friday, I went out for Happy Hour and dinner with a friend of mine. It was mucho fun.

On Saturday, I got to lounge about in my pajamas, doing absolutely nothing all day. It was the best ever. XD
And then, my English teacher friend called and we went out to dinner and a movie for my birthday. I got to see Doogal. Despite the user comments there on IMDB, I loved the movie. I laughed my ass off. I don’t know if the kids got most of the jokes or visual references, but I did. I thought it was funny as hell. Screw that lady. (;

And then – yesterday, on my birthday – I spent the day with Roomie and SlushieMan. Oh, it was fantastic. First – lunch. We had lunch – a HUGE lunch – at Buca di Beppo. Between the spinach and goat cheese salad, the mozzerella-smothered garlic bread, the fettucine with meat sauce, and proscuitto covered chicken breasts – we were full all freaking day. We had lunch reservations for 13:00. We probably started eating around 13:20. I think we finally left at 14:00. But – my god. I was still full when I went to bed at midnight. Well, by midnight, I was pondering that I could *maybe* eat something. XD That’s how full I was. After lunch, we went to their house to rest off the alcohol we had with lunch. It wasn’t much, but enough. We watched Die Hard. Well, I slept through half of it. We were going to go bowling after that – but we arrived at the lanes at 17:30 and the lanes were booked until 21:30. Wtf?! Who knew bowling was so popular?! So, we went off to Toys’R’Us instead to grab a game. We ended up with the Haunted Mansion version of Clue. You know, that ride at Disney World. I love that ride. XD And we played. Like we were ten. I love them. They indulge my childish glee. And we had a good time. And yes, I won. WOO! And no, they didn’t let me win. (;

Overall, it was a fantastic day. Roomie and SlushieMan kept me busy for nine hours of my birthday. And the online peoples were fantastic, too. OH! I forgot.

My dearest luff, Arisa, sent me a graphic gift she made with our other friend, Drvp. How I luff them. They are adorable. And Thanks to Charli, purplebullet, and Yumeko for their well wishes from Eden. Oh. And the Ebil one. She is cute. Luff her too. Oh, and thanks to my dearest Serenus for helping too. Yay!

Anyway. It was a great birthday. All birthdays should be like that!
