I see swirlies!

So, yours truly has created a brand, spanking new layout for her site. It’s all cool and crisp. I adore it. It makes me think of an iced cold glass of water – which is just perfect since it’s now getting to be hot and humid here where I live. Damn the cursed day-ball! Why did it have to come back? I was enjoying all the rain! ::shakes a fist::

In any event, with the help of Teli, Betty, and Luka, this site is now fully operational. Actually, I need to thank someone else – Ankh. He will most likely never see this, but – thanks to him, too!

All the graphics and coding were done by yours truly. I’m so proud. Look out, world. I’m back!

The GeekGoddess (and HTML snob) has returned.

LOL

Thank you! and thanks for the visit!

And yes, Luka, you are right. I didn’t draw the swirlies. XD
I don’t know if you are supposed to link istock or not. I mean – you *bought* the image. So – it’s yours- right?
I went looking and I *could not* find anywhere that said “link to us” or even “No need to link to us”

    AGH! XD

  4. Teli says:

Very loverly! Swirlies everywhere – GO YOU!! 😀

And, not you’re not required to link back to iStock unless you want to. There are restrictions to the license (i.e. you can’t go selling it or making free distributed templates from the images), but nothing requiring you to link back to the site.

  5. Pandora says:

Huh. That’s weird. Because I know I’ve seen images from istock used on templates which sold by people who do web design for a living. Is that okay? I mean, since you aren’t selling the image, just the work created with it. Hrmmmm.

Man. I have got to read the fine print. XD

  6. Pandora says:

And thank you teli! I adore this skin. (=

Nope, not unless they purchased an extended license or struck a deal with istock or the original designer. There’s actually a special section in the terms which specifically address use in templates.
