Tie a Yellow Ribbon

Time for a Refresher on what’s happening on this blog on the 29th of July!
————————————–
On the 29th of July, the Geeks will be participating in the annual Blogathon. Between the three of us, we will be blogging for 24 hours, posting once every 30 minutes. That will be a total of 49 posts. What! Shouldn’t it be 48? No, because there’s the one we tack on at the end. So, 49 posts. That’s a lot of posting! Amazing, huh?

We will be blogging for the Armed Forces Foundation this year. The Armed Forces Foundation has a miriad of programs to support the members of the military and their familes, including paying the bills of the familes of troops in need & finding housing for families to visit injured service members.

Now that you’ve heard the spiel, and if you are ready to help, there is something very simple you can do. Click here to sponsor me. You will be sent to the Blogathon site where you will need to sign up, but no one will see any of your information. Make sure you look for that confirmation email and click on the link within it to make sure your donation goes active. If you have issues, let me know! On the day of the ‘Thon, July 29, come on back and see what us Geeks are doing. There will be fun, games, and prizes!

After the Blogathon is over, you will receive another email from the ‘Thon people, telling you the Geeks finished the Blogathon and reminding you how much you pledged to donate to the Armed Forces Foundation. You will then be sent over to their website to donate online or you can also do so via snail mail.

Many thanks to Betty for the help with the structure of this post. (Actually, shamelessly stolen from her sidebar. Good thing she <3's me!)

I’m hoping to at least hit $200 bucks! Thanks so much to our current sponsors for their generousity!
