Well…the tired is starting to set in a little. Being on the Sabbath schedule has one major drawback and one minor benefit, in my opinion. The drawback is that we have to stay up longer. On the regular Blogathon schedule, most participants wake up somewhere around 5-6am so start. Most Sabbath schedule people don’t/can’t just wake up an hour before they start blogging (at 9pm). So most Sabbath scedule people are up significantly longer than the regular ‘thonners. I was up at 1pm on Saturday and I won’t go back to sleep until around 10ish on Sunday. That’s a 33 hour day vs. the 25 or so hour day that the regular scedulers get. The benefit, though, is that we start out in the dark and finish (mostly) in the light. It’s much easier to stay awake when it’s light outside. So although we have to stay up longer, we do get a small push to help us Sabbath people stay away! Just a little food for thought, I guess…
