I feel like giving something away! YES! (;
This journal has white and blue flowers all over it. The pages are a lovely light blue as is the ribbon you can use to mark your place. Remember – the winner of this particular journal has the option of having it sent blank – or with the story written in it by me.
Here’s how you can win. (;
Tell me what your predictions for the story overall. Where do you think I’m taking this? What’s going to happen? You have an hour to post your predictions and then I – I choose….
Clearly, all the characters will eventually figure out they are entirely fictional, yet somehow still have a concious and the ability to make decisions (or at least the illusions as such). The story will make a drastic turn and focus on each individual character’s trials and tribulations or dealing with the anxiety and pressure of being someone’s imagination. Some will buckle under the pressure, some will try to escape, and others will simply accept it. My predictions for a few of the characters:
Jarrod – In a panic of not knowing whether or not he truly exists, decides to immediately live life to its fullest. He gets on his best clothes, goes to the jewelry store, and purchases the finest ring and proposes to Libby. Unfortuantely, Libby (as you’ll read below) isn’t in any state to be dealing with something like this. As a result, Jarrod is whisked into a deep depression at the thought that the one girl he [mostly secretly] loved, wouldn’t marry him, and that he could quite posibly “vanish” from someone’s thoughts without ever having been truly in love.
Lucian and Libby – Being so close (and female) will team up to try to get through the emotional troubles that come with realizing you’re but a figment of someone else’s imagination. Between psychoanalyzing the alleged complex of their “creator” and mitigating the mental anguish that comes with feeling like a puppet, they don’t have much time to actually execute and plans. They do, however, make some very compelling arguments and insightful theories.
Nicholas – Being the rational yet [hiddenly] egotistical one, he rushes home to get on his secretly stashed away fatigues, and purchases a sword from the local weaponry. He transforms into a strapping, young fighter ready to battle his way out of someone else’s imagination and take control of his own life. Think of him as a character similar to Link from Zelda, but fighting for his freedom.
Ok, someone will fall in love, someone ele will fall out of love, someone will die and someone will be born!
The seer is actually evil, Nicholas is really the king, and Jarrod saves the day!!
wow I so love these suggestions LOL ;P I so wanna donate my thoughts rolf
I think, as of the next “chapter” I’ve read that…Lucian’s do-it-all nature is going to get him in some messes. I mean, look at him, he didn’t really even grieve for his father yet! He bottles all of those feelings inside…he probably will snap at some moment and Solstice will comfort him, because she’s nice like that. Then, when she “comforts” him she recieves another shocking vision that twists everything all around. :]
