Greetings Programs!

Hello Internets! Did you miss me? I missed you! ::grins::
I ended up spending most of the weekend with a friend. He’s a fun guy and we tend to do a weird variety of things. No, not *that*. You perverts. q: He’s an attached personage, for one. For two – eh. I’ve known him ten years. Just – never thought of him like that. (;

This weekend, we played video games and went shopping and hung out with other friends at a bar and played trivia. Oh, and had Dim Sum. Ha. God, that was amazing! Have you heard of this? You go in and sit down. They give you a card and then they bring around carts and ask you want you want. When you choose, they mark off on the card how much it is. And the food! Yummy! It’s seductive, I tell you. Would you like this? Yes, please. What about this? Yes, please. This? No, thank you. My god, by the time you realize what you’ve done, there’s enough food on the table to feed eight people. Well, maybe just four. But still! It really was good. Steamed pork buns. OH! And the pineapple buns. Though, I’m not sure it was really pineapple. Whatever it was, it was utterly scrumptious, and oddly familiar. I still cannot place that!

Do you have a friend like that, internets? One with whom you can do everything and nothing – and still have a great time? I swear, we do the strangest things sometimes. We hung a light in his kitchen once. We go shopping for furniture. We did that this weekend. Went looking at futons. Ha. Have cake and ice cream for lunch – because there was cake like whoa in his house. (He’d just made a cake for his mom’s 50th birthday party. It was an AWESOME cake. It was a lighthouse! Dude.)

So, that’s what I did most of the weekend. (; It was a blast and I just wish, between the two of us, we could work schedules better so we could do it more often. It’s a ton of fun for all concerned.

Anyway. Happy Monday, Internets! It is my Monday of no work this summer. I go back to work next Monday, the 20th. I am totally ready for it. I am going nuts, completely out of my mind – with utter boredom. There is only so much “weekend” time a girl can take! Well, at least *this* girl, at any rate. I’m not a “Type A” personality, not really, but I am enough of one to need deadlines and things which must be done or I just don’t get a damn thing done at all!

Oh my! This is the longest entry in a long time! HEE! Okay. (;
