Halloween is also one of my favorite holidays. My Mom was a holiday nut and went overboard on most holidays, including Halloween. While we were still trick-or-treating, she handmade all of our costumes and could probably get a part-time job as a make-up artist. I think my favorite costume was my “Batgirl” costume. I was about 6 or 7 years old and she made the cutest outfit with a gray leotard, wrist cuffs, belt, boots, hat with ears…the works. I’ll never be as talented and creative, but I did purchase the cutest little pirate outfit for my 2 year old son. Halloween has a whole new level of excitement now that I have children to enjoy it with!
