It’s been a while since I’ve done some life news on me. I gave you all the news on my family, but none about me. Well, except for the stupid Back to School night. My god, that was a long ass day. It really was. Mleh. But! Let’s move on to me! (;
I’ve been trying that eHarmony website to attempt to meet guys because I apparently suck at doing it myself. (No, really. I really do.) It’s not been going that well. Either I haven’t connected with them or I guess they haven’t connected me with me. I guess some people can tell after just one date, since after one date I didn’t hear anymore from most of them. I, on the other hand, generally need at least two before I can even decide what I think. I’m weird like that.
Anyhoo. The latest go-round has actually turned out pretty well. The emails he and I exchanged were hilarious. Always included a ‘name that movie’ line. He started it by asking who shot first. (Han. Duh.) I don’t remember what I retaliated with, but it was good fun. The boy calls nearly every day and sends me emails too. And we’ve met in person and that is going well.
I’ve not really mentioned him to anyone because every other time I have, it hasn’t turned out overly well. I got all paranoid and superstitious. Silly me. (;
But – not so here. He’s fun. He’s a gamer, which is good, because so am I. And the cat likes him. Always a plus.
So, now I need to figure out a code name for him. Hrmmm. Thoughts, internets? He’s tall, a gamer, works with computers, cute, funny, and overall a lot of fun.
ooooooh!
Now that the cat’s out of the bag, you KNOW we all expect updates and details right??
=^.^=
Seriously sweetie, I’m happy you’ve found someone who’s fun. I hope it goes well
*hugs*

wow, this is cool news. and yeah, we’ll expect updates now. LOL
codename? hmm i’m not good at coming up with those. :/
Call him “Han”, seems appropriate
Oh yeah and add me to the “Go you!” list as well
Wow! Now, I must believe in relationships starting over the internet. I have always been quite cynical of these networking websites, but now, you’ve proved me wrong.
I hope everything goes well with you and this new “mister”. I suggest “Mr. Webber”. Just so it’s believable that it’s a real name. And “webber” because you met him at a website. Hahaha.
He does sound fun! Hope it lasts!
Not to stray from the topic but I met my wife online
Yeah i met my wife via the net as well. although through i friend and not a dating site. 😀 but my friend met her current boyfriend via eHarmony and now they’re having a baby!
The Internet is becoming a love link these days. One of my friends also met her better half via the Net. Now, their relationship’s going stronger and planning to tie the knot soon.
I think it really depends on both of you in order to make the budding relationship grow. Good luck to you.
@Azure – thanks! (; Updates as they come, definitely.
@yoshi – since I have to blog everyday, I expect there will be updates. (I kind of like this blogging every day thing…)
@Abraxus – Han does seem appropriate. I think we’ll go with that until something else pops up.
@Sheila – Having had a relationship that started online, I wasn’t sure about the whole ‘dating site’ thing either. And – it’d not been going well. But – things are looking up, indeed!
@Abraxus – stray from the topic all you like. I like that. (; (PS – how’s your wife doing with Zelda?)
@yoshi – did you really? I didn’t know that!
@gina – Isn’t it crazy how the internet has connected people? Thanks for the well wishes. (;
Good deal! I’m happy for you!
