Worlds Collide

Hi everyone, Yoshi from hello! yoshi here. I really have to get my free for all friday deal going so I can also do this. Oy. Someone remind me. Anyways, off to the post.

Nothing major going on, I just thought I’d talk about what I made last night. Luka was gracious enough to share an awesome lumpia recipe with me, and I made them up last night finally. I actually started on wednesday, however, I had a couple things go on that prevented me from doing so.

First off, during the grating of the carrots I managed to grate my finger, thusly creating a nasty cut on it. I had the hardest time getting it to stop bleeding, but I did manage to not get any blood anywhere.

Then, as I went to use the wrappers I bought, I realized they were too thick, and I really didn’t like them. Oy. So what was I to do? I packed up the lumpia mix and stuffed it in the fridge.

So… yesterday I managed to find some lumpia wrappers that I did like, and I made them up. Mmmm tasty! I love lumpia! I should have taken some pictures and posted it on my food site, however, I would have wanted to share that recipe, and I can’t since it’s not really mine.

Speaking of my food site, there’s currently a poll going on over there on whether or not Brown Sugar & Cinnamon PopTarts are tasty or not. Basically do you like them or not? You need to go vote now!

spring eh?  well.. here in wisconsin..  i think we’ve gone from winter, to summer, to winter again.  so… i’m not really sure if i can count march as “spring” quite yet.  (maybe spring will get here in may..  like last year)

and yea.. i’m hungry too.  it’s my lunch break.. i’m going to be going out for lunch with my mom… 

and that leaves the moving question.  well.. one funny fact about me.. is that when i am looking at a place/room/house/apartment for me to move stuff into (like moving to a new apartment.. or moving my stuff into another room.. or even staying with friends overnight) i notice how many grounded outlets there are.  i know. silly!  but i have so many electronic type gadgets.. i need a good 4 plugs in various ends of the room.. and then i plug a power strip (or two) into each outlet… and proceed to fill them all up.  yes.. it’s that bad.

and that leads me to the first thing when i move to a new place: set up my computers, surround sound theater systems, plug them all in… and THEN get to things like… furniture..  and … dishes.
