Life Updates
So what is going on in Poe’s life?
I found that, yet again, I have lost a close friend to a shiny new person. Ah, well. Such is the way of things, right? (How come it doesn’t hurt less the more often it happens?)
I’ll be taking a vacation just in time for Blogathon. I’m actually excited about this. (=
I’m off to visit a friend, who has promised to try and help keep me awake for the Blogathon. I’m not holding out much hope, since it turns out he has to actually work the day of the Blogathon – and the day after, but, you never know. He gets up at a weird hour. Maybe he’ll bring me Starbucks. Or something. (= (Boo, hiss, working a weekend. Silly job.)
Speaking of the Blogathon, I have a new job there this year. Sheana decided I was trustworthy (really? Am I? O_o ) to be the Volunteer Coordinator. In other words, if the Team Leaders of the monitors don’t know the answers, I’m supposed to know them. Um. Oh, dear. XD
Also, I am still in need of a theme for the Blogathon. I’m thinking either Trivia again this year – or writing. I feel a creative tingle in my bones. I might do that.
In other news – I had to change my feed url because I couldn’t get into Feedburner to update the one there. (That stupid thing.) So – if you have me in a feed reader – update your URL! 😀

Blogathon returns! Last year there was that “Day of Blogs”, but this year – it is the Blogathon once more.

Yup. That’s it. You end up doing 49 posts in 24 hours. It’s crazy-insane. Yet, crazy-fun! 😀
I just need to figure out what to blog about.
In 2006, I used trivia and had two helpers on the blog. Diz and Kyle.
In 2007, I wrote an interactive story, where the people commenting on my blog got to determine the path of the story.
So, now it’s 2009.
What the hell do I do this year? O_o

Do you think I could put in an order, 2009? You know, something you could bring me that 2008 just couldn’t manage to do?
Here’s what I’d most like….
(It’s a trifle selfish, perhaps a trifle trivial, but, you know, I’m in that kind of a mood.)
I would like – a significant other. Please. (;
A military type because uniforms are hot
A geek because a non-geek would not understand me, nor my entire family. (Brother, Sister’s Fiance….)
A comedian because I like to laugh
Someone who likes movies and plays and hanging out on the couch, too
Someone who likes to go out for a walk or go do things
Someone who likes video games. (Kind of a subset of geek, there. Be even better to play the video games with me. :D)
A guy my mother will like because Mom is important and knows what’s good for me. (No, really.)
Cute, which is subject to opinion, but, you know, there’s all kinds of cute, good-looking, etc.
Edit: Okay, let’s be specific. A *man*. Not a boy. A *man*. Who takes care of his shit and me and doesn’t cat around. ‘Cuz Poe don’t play like that. You don’t want to share? Neither do I. Deal with that, kthxbai. (;
